The Marketing and PR department was established in 2007 in accordance with the objectives of ADWC's 2007-2009 Strategic Plan. The department's mandate includes enhancing the college's brand and corporate position among key community stakeholders, and creating and implementing communication strategies that provide greater links between ADWC's internal and external audiences. The department offers expertise in various areas including press release and event organization, marketing support, public and media relations and producing publications.

To fulfill its mandate, the Marketing and PR (MPR) department creates publications to promote ADWC's programs and its students. Printed publications include academic brochures which provide information on all of ADWC's educational programs; the Student Program Booklet which highlights the programs and credentials offered by the college; and "Pearls," the college's new bi-annual magazine which covers the events and activities of ADWC's students, faculty and staff. Online publications include ADWCS Highlights, the college’s monthly staff newsletter and content for the website.

MPR is also responsible for communicating with the press and the media to let the public know of the college's events and activities. MPR sends out press releases and arranges interviews with students and faculty for print and web publications as well as for television broadcasts. Each year MPR receives over 240 publications in various local newspapers and magazines as well as television coverage of college events in local and regional stations.

The department also plays a major role in organizing and assisting other departments in over 30 major college events per year, such as the College Open Day (Ajyaluna), the annual HCT Maths conference, the UAE Educational IT Challenge, Annual Graduation and all employer events such as Career Fairs.

In addition, MPR coordinates sponsorships for the college so that major corporations can have a chance to partner in the educational development of the students. The department also arranges campus tours for visiting guests and VIPs to showcase the technology used on campus.

Every day, the Marketing and PR department works to raise the profile of ADWC and to ensure that the community is aware of the achievements of ADWC students.
